I've never been a Hulk fan, and this movie didn't move me any distance toward being one. The acting and story and production quality is all very well, but moving from a tender love story to a cartoonish smash-em-up didn't work for me... the best parts for me were the events at the beginning of the movie in Brazil. I think my basic problem is that Bruce Banner seems like such a helpless victim in life, despite his tentative efforts to get control of his life and fate... it just doesn't attract me as a story. If you think you'll like this movie, quite possibly you will... I just didn't find it offered me very much. Note to the indignant father sitting behind me: Sir... if you do not make an effort to keep your 4-year-old quiet in the theatre, you should not be surprised when people nearby shush him for you. Perhaps you should reconsider whether a child so young should go to a movie not specifically billed for little children, despite its PG rating. I assure you I wasn't the only person there being disturbed by his chatter, and you had plenty of time to do something about it before I said anything.

You clearly don't know what your talking about. Bruce Banner is supposed to look helpless, weak and a victim. It completly counteracts his alter ego the hulk. It's perfect contrast in this movie.
Theres nothing worse than having people talk or make noise when you're watching a movie. If they don't want to watch then leave or even better don't come to the theatre at all. Or if you have a child that isn't behaving then simply move them out of the auditorium. Cinemas should have people watching in every screen to ensure noisey people are quieted or warned.
