This is a peculiar comedy that deals with topics such as age, experience, liberalism, and modern day feminism. I must admit that the movie tries to stay honest and is generally funny. Robert De Niro definitely steals the show. While De Niro’s character stands out, I found it hard to empathize with many of the other characters as they were self-absorbed, self-indulgent, superficial, and having created themselves the negative predicaments they are in. Although much of the subject matter is not with what I would agree with, this is a movie which will keep the average viewer entertained given the many flaws of the characters.
