    The King's Speech

This is a remarkable film! I really had not interest in seeing this because it was about the British Monarchy and I really could care less about the Royals. However, I succumbed to social pressure and did go see it. Somehow this film made me identify with and feel for the main character. I forgot that he was a king and thought of him as a man, a regular human being. To have me thinking like that is extraordinary. Maybe it was the way that Rush's character treated him. Maybe it was the acting, maybe it was the directing. Maybe it was that we can all identify with personal struggles we all have to endure. All of these elements went into making this a film a remarkable achievement. If you are reading these reviews to help you decide to see this film, here is another 10 to say "Go see it."
