    The Last Picture Show

This brilliant film from BBS Columbia directed by Peter Bogdanovich will move you on any number of levels no matter what your age. It contains the very stuff of life itself, all embodied in a lonely Texas town where the local cinema is screening its last movie... how times are changing. So many Oscar nominations for this pure gold film in B & W with Cloris Leachman (so deserved) beating out her own co-star Ellyn Burstyn as BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS. I loved this film and plan to view it again. No matter how old you are it gives you a nostalgic view of the way things used to be, the good with the bad.
