This abomination is too long, too preachy and too cutesy. While it tries to present itself as fun, it's got all the "imagination" of every other propaganda film in history. There is none of the light-hearted fun which was typical of even Dr Seuss's worst books. As one reviewer said, the Unabomber would love it. After about an hour I had to walk out. Take your kids to see something that isn't trying to brainwash them.

Thought this movie was about pollution and the environment? From what I read on these reviews the movie is trying to send a message? How is that brainwashing when we see the world get more polluted everyday.
You can see a lot of things without necessarily understanding them. For example: preachy agitprop that stirs up emotional responses with simplistic, misleading scenarios that make it easier for cynical politicians to stampede people. If this kind of nonsense worked, we would not "see the world get more polluted everyday" since the hysteria has been going on since the '60s, without creating any improvement, least of all in critical thinking. I'm a conservationist, not an environmentalist; the difference is that the former studies and analyses a problem and works for practical solutions, while the latter gets hoodwiinked into accepting higher taxes and restrictions on liberty that do nothing to solve any real problems. The idea that cutting down trees and using them to better our lives is "evil" is ridiculous. We do not need to give up all our wood products in order to preserve wild areas, et cetera, and all businesses are not, and do not conduct themselves, like some mega-corporations. Brainwashing our children with such awful flicks is a disservice to them as well as to the cause of responsible resource management.
