    The Man Who Wasn't There

This movie takes a very cynical attitude of human nature. Viewers must suspend some belief in common sense in order to allow the story and themes of the movie to proceed, which may be asking to much especially for the end result. While very stylishly directed in film noir, the story leads the viewer to a possible redemption that comes crashing down at the end leaving you with nothing but a bad taste in your mouth. Perfect Coen brother fair!
