I thought the first third of this movie was fascinating. Then when it came to the family being locked in the house and the bad guys coming... well it decayed into another bad Hollywood attempt at shock and awe. Too bad they did not make the whole movie about the politics of the new world order through the eyes of this family instead of turning it into yet another teen slasher flick. I'm sure whoever the person was that had this good original idea wanted it to be about the new America, but by the time it was churned by the corporate executives the script got turned into trash ready for the shred box.
