    The Railway Man

The movie contained strong dialogue and good performances, especially by the lead actor Colin Firth. The cinematography coupled with the storyline added to the film’s depth. The flashbacks to the Japanese labour camp during World War II throughout the movie were effective in telling the story and having the viewer to walk in the shoes of Eric Lomax (played by Colin Firth) on whom the story is based on. Great movie dealing with the power of forgiveness. The downside to the film is that there are several historical inaccuracies.
