Hard to believe but is true. L. DiCaprio playing an Oscar nomination performance. I admit that I never liked him, but there's something in this movie that just change my mind. I am not talking about the "hard-to-believe-survivor-experience", I am taking about his truly amazing performance. I found myself holding my breath many times or crying because of him. DiCaprio delivered many beautiful touching moments. I am glad that he won the Oscar (double work in front of the terrific E. Redmayne and his masterpiece "Danish Girl") In "The Revenant" is more that fair to mention T. Hardy. The bad guy in H. Glass path, and the director who film a solid story but easy to follow, simple. Bonus for the great picture, soundtrack and realistic hunting. I will recommend the movie always… it's really worth to see it.
