    The Ten Commandments

The Ten Commandments is an excellent movie based mostly on the second book of the Bible – Exodus. This 1950's classic film does a great job in capturing the essence of this biblical story. I always see this film during Lent. The characters in the movie are well portrayed with strong dialogue, especially Charlton Heston as Moses and Yul Brynner as Ramses II. The cinematography, special effects, costume, makeup, set design, and the way the extras were used is first rate and you feel that you are actually there as you watch the film. Superb!
