    Un Dimanche à Kigali

For anyone who can tolerate subtitles or whose French is good enough to see this, it is a must. I absolutely loved this movie! It made me cry, laugh, hope and reflect. Touching slightly on the AIDS epidemic in Africa, this is a powerful love story, set amidst a war based on hate and aggression. The images of love are as strong as the images of violence and disease, so be wary. The acting is formidable, and the cinematography is excellent. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 is because the musical score leaves much to be desired. But it does not interfere with the elements of storytelling, rather the lack of music portrays the true essence of a world gone astray and discordant. A truly unforgettable movie.
