The violence scenes were quite graphic so not suitable for those under 16. I was a bit uncomfortable at first but I had see it to the end. It's a gutsy and original film that, despite the controversial subject matter, is worth a watch at least once to appreciate the intended message of the movie to put the shocking nature of the story into perspective. It leaves you with the question "what would you do in order to survive?"
