Fantastic - my first review here, I felt compelled to write this. Michelle Williams is amazing - she deserves an Oscar for her performance. She embodies what I "think" Marilyn must have been like - crazy, lost, tragic and completely seductive. I was dragged to the movie at a premiere showing and about a quarter of the way through I was completely drawn into her performance. I've seen her in other movies and I doubted she would/could pull off playing the most iconic sex symbol of all time - she nailed it. The rest of the cast is excellent, the direction is assured and confident and it seemed to me they replicated the atmosphere of 50's Britain and Marilyn hysteria. One of the best flicks of the year, IMHO - go see it.
