I read the book before watching the movie and I was very surprised at what point the story was respected. I could reconize some scenes and even some dialogues, which is great because the movie represents well an amazing book. Great story, amazing acting (except for the guy who played the student kevin connoly who was awful) and I would recommend both the movie and the book.
