Didn't like as much as Raiders Of The Lost Ark and The Temple Of Doom. It was still pretty awesome though! I liked how they brought back the girl from the original Indiana Jones movie! Unlike some people, I actually thought the plot and story were good.

This fourth Indiana Jones still kept me excited throughout the movie. Great pace, humor and cast. Go see it. Was happy too see that they reunited Karen Allen in this fourth movie.

Exciting, exciting, exciting!!! Indiana Jones is always a blast, and that's exactly what this fourth enstallment delivers. The story on the other hand was not thought of very well. The whole idea about the aliens was stupid, and the portrayal of the aliens was weak. All in all, it was just fun to see Harrison Ford in that set of clothes again.

The ideas to Indy 4 were inspired concepts. The Cold War, the Atomic Age, McCarthy paranoia, psychic spies, Area 51 with alien invasion from other dimensions are great ideas for a new Indy film. How did the film end up so bad? The first 20 minutes are the highlight of this poor film. The family chemistry between Indy, his son and Marion are embarrassingly uncomfortable to watch. John Hurt has a thankless nothing role to play with. After the atomic explosion the film bogs down in tedious exposition. The scene where Shia swings on CGI vines with monkeys in the South American jungle is the lowest point in Spielberg's filmmaking career. The captivating mythology in RAIDER'S OF THE LOST ARK with the covenant in speaking directly with God was extremely watchable and magnetic in its storytelling. The action set-pieces in RAIDER'S were stunning to watch as they were created through the camera. The special-effects in RAIDER'S are far more satisfying then the CGI crap in Indy 4. Indy 4 just doesn't have the movie magic of RAIDER'S! George Lucas must never be allowed behind a word processor again with his 3 horrible STAR WARS films and now a horrible Indy film in number 4.

Started out like a typical Indiana Jones movie but went a little off track when it went deeper into the aliens/Sci Fi theme. Mildly entertaining.

If your an Indy fan, it's not too bad, except for the three major cheese moments, and you will know these as soon as you see them, but hey Harrison Ford and Shia Labeouf are hot, so have ater.

I was not sure if I was going to enjoy this movie, but it ended up being really enjoyable. We are real movie goers and therefore didn't want to waste our time. That being said, the movie kept the same tone as the other three (same background style, sound effects and yes... acting) After watching the old Star Wars and then seeing what George Lucas produced with the new Star Wars (which I didn't care for) I enjoyed watching movies that kept the same "feel" to them as the originals. It was exactly like the other 3 Indiana Jones movies. It was not meant to be filmed with acting precision and background perfection. It was meant to be a 4th movie in the already existing trilogy. Keeping that in mind, go see it and enjoy it.

This was soo dissapointing. The script was terrible, which made the acting terrible, even though they had some talented actors. The first three movies were brilliant but this one completely ruined it for me. They were all somewhat over the top but still believable and fun. This one on the otherhand completely went opposite to the others. The others were all based on religion and this one completely abolishes that with the whole alien thing. Don't watch it. Period.

Originally I didn't plan on watching this movie in theatres. I turned away from it because of all the bad reviews, but since it was the only movie playing at the time that I hadn't seen, I figured I might as well watch it. I have to say, that I was pleasantly surprised. It's certainly not as bad as people make it out to be. Of course it isn't as good as the previous 3 movies but it's still quite entertaining. I enjoyed the chemistry between the 3 main character's (Harrison, Shia, Karen) Being an Indi fan I was quite satisfied. I think this movie is a good conclusion to the original trilogy.

Shia swinging on vines? More like Indiana Jones and his son Tarzan. I only laughed at the parts that weren't funny: "The Fridge"

Being an Indiana Jones fan I think the movie was a let dowm. The action was good, but Harrison should have let a stunt double do more stunts, his age was a factor. A boring plot... and yeah... a very warry 6.. if it wasn't Indiana Jones... it would be a 2.

First half hour was fun but the story fell apart especially towards the end. I am sorry but couldn't the writers come up with something better than this after having nearly twenty to dream it up. I could have written a better story. Big disappointment.

This movie was good in so far as its an Indiana Jones movie. Ford did a much better job than I thought he would, I enjoyed his performance. Really he was suffering under a (in my mind) Weak and plain old weird plot. I mean Indie movies are never exactly hyper realistic but a fridge? Seriously? And followed up by an ooga chucka gopher?.. Overall it was not terrible..

This movie was terribly disappointing. The stunts kept going on and on and on and was totally unbelievable. They should have stopped at the first few rather than make a half baked sequel.

Pretty much like the Indiana Jones of yester year, Harrison Ford was able to fall right back into character. I couldn't say the same for Karen Allen. The years have been less than kind to her. The movie was alright but I wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. I'm sure like so many other Indy fans, I was expecting something more.

Shame on you for stealing our money this time, Lucas-berg team! Missed Karen Allen and she was horribly disappointing. Love Blanchette and she was so NOT an enemy. Like the attempt to maintain the 1980s technology, but it just didn't hold up. Next time, put the money into better writers!

Good movie. New and old actors were all decent. I feel it lived up to the name. The whole crystal skull thing seemed a bit weird to me for an Indiana Jones theme though. Still a must see.

By far the worst movie I have ever seen. Ford cant act anymore and aliens? CORNY shoulda just stayed with the old Indiana Jones. At least then Ford had some acting ability.

Pretty decent movie, worth seeing. I saw it a while ago and thought it was really good except for Karen Allen who never stopped laughing or smiling no matter what the situation was. It looked like they broke her out of a ward.

Been waiting for Karen Allen's character to return for decades. Shame she's so wasted in this film. Not much to do except be a shallow love interest. Shia's character pleasantly fills the gap. He and Indy have good chemistry. The movie is over special-effected. Weak story. Aliens and spaceships? Com'on! Raiders I can watch again and again. Crusade once in a while. The screaming bimbo and Indy's comic book character in Temple are too much for me. Crystal Skull: Saw it once; that was enough.

Aliens a little bit too unrealistic for you? Yeah I guess thats kind of a stretch after a cup that can heal all life and a man who can slowly stick (not thrust or punch) his hand into your chest and pull out your heart while it is still beating. I guess I couldn't really make that leap in illogic either. The people saying this is a cheesy movie REALLY need to watch the first 3 again. It might have humour aimed towards a younger audience, but didn't the first three do that as well? Corny pickup lines, ridiculously loud haymakers, and corny stunts that are, well, unrealistic/realistic. This movie holds true to the previous three in almost every aspect. The people who "LOVED" the first ones and think that the new one is "TERRIBLE!" need to get their "Indiana Jones is the new Superman" t-shirts out of their closet and go watch it again without too many expectations. The more you expect from something, the less it gives. Light heartedness is key in this movie. It's a fun movie you can watch again and again.

Bad, bad, bad and so disappointing - even if I kinda expected it. I guess us born in the 1970s felt the same watching "The Phantom Menace". Computerized effects, the occult and aliens may be a moneymaker these days but they don't necessarily make a good plot (even if I enjoyed the first 20 minutes of the movie) People over 12 shouldn't be allowed in the theatre! Spielberg, why did you sell your talent?

As always George Lucas makes the unexplainable, explainable. He has created an in credible Adventure for our long time hero "Indiana" and at the end we are literally dumbstruck by the revelations. It makes us really stop and think once we have left the theater and replay the story over and over in our minds. To walk out and say AWESOME, is premature. No this latest installment of the Indiana movies is like wine, savoured and appreciated over time. Makes you walk away saying "Hey what if? " and I think that is the idea. A movie that is gone from our minds once we are out of the movie house has no lasting power, but this one keeps you think long after you come home. Definitely go and see this movie!

Being a huge Indiana Jones fan from the moment I saw Raiders of the Lost Ark, I must say I was very disappointed with Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I find that the movie could have done without a couple of the characters in the film, and others were just a hollow shell of what the used to be in Raiders. Like I said before, I'm a huge fan so I went to see it a second time. Getting over the initial disappointment, I found that I enjoyed the movie a little more the second time around. In any case, I feel I should give this movie a 10 because it deserves a higher rating than what it got. Give it a chance, it's obviously nowhere as good as the first but, still entertaining, hey, it's INDIANA JONES!!!

In the first half, exhilaration is permanent, the velocity is continual, and entertainment is perfect. The action in this movie is it’s best piece. The jeep chase sequence was incredible. The chase at area 51 was great. Everything was all pulled off to make it a typical Indiana Jones sequel. But it’s no Indiana Jones movie, if it were; there wouldn’t be deficient direction. Steven Spielberg fell off the swing in this movie. The script is vulgar, but the good actors make it sound enhanced. But the ant attack kind of copies the bug attack thing off the Mummy. And fantasies go way over undomesticated in this. The UFO, the aliens, you know it’s just mythological, and it’s all very peculiar history involving Aztec stuff. But Steven decided to create a Mummy meets Temple of Doom thing, with Bizarro stuff happening. When special effects is the main part of this gala. But alike most of Stephen Sommers movies, some of the visuals are terrible. Like the Gofers out in the middle of the desert, did they even try with that? Those random mesa American natives popping out of nowhere near the end. It’s cyclic with never-ending ideas of escapade. And the knowledge is fitting. The acting was all right. Most did defectively, others. Specifically the leads pulled off a high winner. But after 19 years of looking for a good-enough story, they come up with an idea that’s just way too surreal. That’s the only thing I have with this movie. Besides that, it has some good lines, like my favourite one: “Don’t just sit there and find something to fight with. ” Or the scene when Marion and Indy got sucked up in the sand pit. Or the cheep chase sequence, there were some funny spots their. This movie is occasionally admirable. But expect the average everyday summer flick you would get. Otherwise you will be let down.
