Beautiful costumes, great evocation of mood and character; a delightful glimpse of another century.

Surprisingly captivating. No history book or chronicle is ever faithfull to the facts, as some critics here presume, neither do I expect this film to be. Good acting and excellent historical and artistic feeling. Very little superfluousity, up to the point!

Le Roi Danse is a film of beautiful interaction between the boy king and his delusions of deity. The passion and romance are exquisite. The costumes are phenomenal and the historical value is actually very good.

Yes, I have seen "Le Roi Danse". It's great, shows how music can get people together. Maybe Palestinians and Jews could listen to music and get together... !! Ciao
