Overall it turned out to be a very interesting and well acted movie. However it takes about 45 minutes for the film to actually start picking up. Once Christopher Lee enters the stage - it becomes much better. My only complaint is how the sound was manipulated. I understand that the director was trying to prove a point by intentionally muffling speech so that we understand how Colin Farrell's character has hearing loss - but it became incredibly distracting having to crank up the volume to around 40 to hear what they say - then quickly turn it back down to 20 when extremely loud blasting occured. I'm sure the director could have come up with an alternative solution to emphasise the hearing loss without causing it to the audience with the overly dramatic blasting. Otherwise a good movie.
