How can this be rated 6 or less? It was a fast-paced smooth action movie flick. Sure it wasn't a masterpiece but Banderas did a good job so did the crew.

Loved that movie - I really got into it! Antonio was pretty good in it.

I thought this movie was a little strange but still very captivating, especially at the time it was made. My favorite AB performance.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I have yet to add it to my library but every time I happen to catch it on T. V. I watch it form start to finish, (If I'm lucky) I can see why some people would not like this film but the fact that it seems low budget and seems like an out of place role for Antonio are things I enjoy. I have to agree with a previous rater, Possibly my favourite scene is the one where they teach the prince dude a valuable lesson. Everyone does a great job in this scene from the Arab to Bulvar to the redheaded guy ( his name escapes me) Great movie.

Great movie, wonderful soundtrack, plausibly actors, just an experience!

This movie is part of my library. It's wonderful and different. If you get a chance to watch it you should. My teenage son enjoyed it as much as I did.

Well, just about everything you need in a movie. Exciting, bonding and adventure, touching on the supernatural and then, the twist. Unforeen and yet, believable. One to watch over and over again.

This movie seemed so low budget, a waste of time for Antonio and for me!

Different take on good versus bad--special effects worth seeing.

All I can say is "Who didn't realize that 13 was an unlucky number? ". What an ill concieved, poorly acted and scatterbrained diologue infested piece of wasted celluloid. Good Grief!

The 13th Warrior is an epic about one man's journey into a new land, where he is exposed to a whole new aspect of humanity, living and culture, but also a fear of the unknown."The arab" (Banderas) is chosen by the king to be the 13th warrior to help fight the growing evil in the land of a Nordish King. Having no choice, heembarks on this adventure, and will soon have to face his darkest fears, and summon a courage that is deep within him to emerge victorious. I will not ruin the story by exposing this fear, however I do recommend you watch this movie if you are into the adventure/action/lord of the rings type movies. Antonio Banderas proves that he is a grade A actor, as he makes this movie memorable by a brilliant performance. I have watched this movie about 30 times (no jokes), and I still find it refreshing.

Great adaptation from the book "Eaters of the Dead".

Waste of time. Antonio help vikings fight some tribesmen terrorizing village people.

They always say that the book is better than the movie (well, they used to, back when people used to read) So if you like good viking stories with a bit of a twist, check out 'Eaters of the dead' by Micheal Crichton. The movie follows the original story pretty closely, but of course you get all the added insight that only comes from a good book. THEN watch the movie, it's well worth the extra trouble.

Excellent film with the West Coast filling in for Northern Europe! Provides an insightful perspective on the Norse people as barbarians compared to the more urbane Arabs of the time.

I like this movie and how they merged the diversity of the characters in fight scenes, love scenes and fantasy. My favourite part was when the vikings saw Antonio's horse and started barking at it and then found that it was a good horse after all. Have watched it a few times already and love it every time.

I liked it, was a different kind of movie. One I wasnt use to seeing. I liked how they made evrything come together though, but I found it a little strange at the ending, but worth seeing.

I loved this movie it was amazing. Antonio did an awesome acting job. I loved the way that he picked up on the language that the vikings were using it was awesome.

The only problem with this movie was that Antonio should have bulked up some to look more menacing. But all in all a very good movie.

I was expecting more story line and a wider range of acting with Antonio.

The 13th warrior is a great fantasy film with a message. The message to me was, if you face your fears, you will ultimately triumph.

I loved the scene where the 13th warrior learns that an enemy must fear more than what the enemy can see.

Great adventure story. I highly recommend it.

It's a must! It happens in are lives the choices and reflexions, I realy did appreciate this movie, the scenes, clothing everything.

This is a movie that makes people reflect, the dedication 1 person and his followers meed to have to achieve the freedom. This is a must to see. A leson on what it takes sometime in life and the sacrifices we must do to attain our goals, a must to see.

A very good and well made movie I have seen it at least 6-9 times now. I have rented it almost every year at least once and watched it on tv it never gets boring and I hope more movies will be as well made as this classic [...]

This movie wasn't bad. The story line was great. The scenery was great. The acting was ok, but the action in the movie makes up for it. Its is worth watching.

Not mind stimulating could see what was going to happen before it did.

A good movie for medievil/action fans. A wierd twist on the Beowulf theme but it's quite interesting. Its funny and is worth seeing again.

The 13th warrior was one of the best action movie ever. Not only did it entertain you, but kept you on suspense throught out the movie.

An interesting take on the legend/story of "Beowulf" Original & definitely worth seeing... though to get the most out of it you ought to read both the original "beowulf" as well as Michael Crichton's retelling first.

It was a solid effort for an action movie. Banderos was good because he played not the most powerful warrior. He was not the biggest of his troop, and it was refreshing to see the star play only an "above average" character. The way he taught himself the language of his fellow warriors was quite ingenious.

Normally Banderas would not be my choice of actor to watch, but the storyline and action were great. Definitely a movie worth seeing or owning (for a dull day)

I thought the movie was a great suspense movie. It was a good worrior movie with great fighting scenes. To top it off Antonio Banderas is a great actor and so handsome, I love him!

Great flick! And filmed near my hometown on Vancouver Island... I have many horse riding friends who were extras. Nice work Hollywood North!!

I have never ever seen such an accurate depiction of Anglo-Saxon culture. There must have been done a lot of research to get it to be that accurate. Very well done!

This movie is great, I watched this movie like 9 times or so, the warm secens are great and also acting of Antonio Bandaras, he is great actor and I always watch his movies for sure. This movie is a must see if you like Warrior movies!!

Yes I have seen this movie. It is action-packed, but leaves no information on the affair with the woman..

Best transition from sub-titled beginning to translating into English I've ever seen! It has great suspense and awesome fight scenes.
