The movies attempts to tackle the subject of tolerance. It shows how impossible this task is among those who seek it (tolerance) and those resolved that it's impossible to attain. Behind the special FX, the fight scenes and very good chemistry/story with the 2 main actors, you have a depressing reality that man (however evolved they are) is at war. The condition of the human heart (the real issue) is not addressed. An issue evolution cannot really answer when you take away the reality of good vs evil (right and wrong) We're left to our own devices to choose. Like this movie, what you have is chaos on the subject. Disappointed by the cameo of a famous X-Men (of the other films) The response of the individual may be humorous, but do they really have to set such a negative example to children watching by using foul language? The use of real history to mingle with the story was intriguing. Kevin Bacon played a great villain. Entertaining to watch. Yet, a depressing world view. I prefer the world view of Jesus Christ. He reflects our true reality - A real X-MAN who transformed the world.
