A great thriller with many twists in this movie. Pure genius with great details to the story. If Alfred Hitchcock was around today, he would have enjoyed it. Guys, this is the second movie for lead actress Synnøve Macody Lund. Oh my!

A lot of thought went into this story but it got to actually be funny and anti climactic with the over the top Gory scenes!!! It had the potential to be a ten!!!

Well, while there was some humor, but definitely not laugh out loud as some reviewers stated. This is an excellent thriller but gory enough in places to prompt one lady to walk out before the movie was halfway through. Even made me flinch in my seat. An unusual story with the two male leads giving excellent performances. The bad guy being particularly scary. All in all an interesting and entertaining movie from start to finish.

An enjoyable movie with a fast moving subtitle to keep track of. Rather tame ending. Good acting.

A fast paced thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Literally! If you liked the book, you'll enjoy the movie.

Very Entertaining movie! The story is well paced with good action and lots of humor. If you like the book or the trailer for the film, I think you will love this movie. Aksel Hennie does a great job in the lead role. Slightly predictable at times but loads of fun along the way.

This was one of the most entertaining movies I have seen this season, with plot twists and turns, good tempo and a nice story line. The movie is not perfect; some parts are implausible and I would have liked to see a bit more about the art robbery world... but, all in all I had a great time watching it.

Great opening when it sets up as a typical "hollywood" type caper flick but soon evolves into its own with scenes so outrageous you burst out laughing to stifle your screams. Well acted and in the same genre as Bourne Identity. Entertaining thriller.

What can I say that hasn't been said here by others. An excellent film. The audience was either laughing or squirming the entire time. Go see it!

This is a great film; the story line is good, it develops well along the course of the movie and was relatively unpredictable... I'd recommend it to those who like suspense movies and thrillers.

Great movie, very interesting story, action and suspense. Unpredictable and entertaining. I like foreign movies, very different from american movies. Don't miss it.

From NORWAY with subtitles (but soon to be remade by HOLLYWOOD), this is an exciting, fast moving film about a corporate headhunter/ art thief with lots of unexpected plot twists and in many ways superior to the DRAGON TATTOO trilogy. Do go see!

Comic relief in parts were good. Plot twists kept the movie moving along. I would have liked to see more about the art thefts and the laundering stolen art. But oh well, worth seeing.

A Norwegian "film noir". Who would've thought? Extremely well done. It's captivating to watch as the chain of events go from good, to not so good, to bad, then to really bad. Thumbs up.

This movie was a surprise. I could see traces of Cohen Brothers flicks for the realistic depth of the characters. I found familiarity in the Norwegian scenery from "the girl with the Dragon tattoo" as well as the fast paced events and action. The graphic effects are excellent -one scene that makes you jump- as is the subtle comedic parts. This movie kept me engaged the whole time wondering about the ending. I will see it again.

It was very entertaining, much more so than I had expected! There was a lot of humour mixed in with the action, and this movie is definitely NOT for people with a weak stomach. Despite having some twists and turns that were slightly predictable, it was entertaining through and through.

Excellent Movie. Axel Hennie excels yet again, an actor to watch out for.

It's a wild and bloody adrenaline rush of a movie. The film has some grisly violence, but also considerable humor and the sort of intricate, thought-through storytelling you'd expect from the Coen brothers. Not surprise to read they're planning to make an American version of it.

The premise to this film is extremely solid with implausible moments of twists and turns. Obviously this film was made to capitilize on the success of Stieg Larsons THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO trilogy. It's an effective Norwegian thriller that can be seen as a cross-over of Hitchcock meets the sensibility of the Coen brothers. It has very slick cinematography with moments of hardhitting and bloody violence as the protaganist finds himself in extremely difficult situations wondering how he's going to get himself out of them. There's a Hollywood remake already in development on HEADHUNTERS. Hopefully Hollywood can get a director like Scorsece who remade the Hong Kong film INFERNAL AFFAIRS into the brilliant THE DEAPARTED. HEADHUNTERS eventually becomes formulaic and among the sharp-witted one can see the twists and turns coming. Still it's a solid premise but not an amazing neo-film-noir that it could have been.
