The first 15 minutes of this movie are worth the price of admission alone for its direction, feel and ability to make spit out sand like you are there in the desert. This is an ensemble cast and even though there are only a handful of people they manage to make it a mixed breed of humanity and personality. Unlike the original, this time around they have added a woman to the team but unfortunately her role is useless (among a few other roles that are useless as well) That being said, there is hardly a dull moment especially with the talented Giovanni Ribisi on board. This is a good action/disaster/ensemble piece and kept me entertained without feeling too “american”..
