Best superhero movie of all time, best 2008 movie thus far (I feel so stupid for saying that only 2 days after I was saying that about The Visitor) I think the credit of how spectacular this movie is can be split between Jon Favreau, Robert Downey and even Gwyneth. It's so polished that even non-comic book fans will love this movie. The performances really add quite a bit and there is some great on-screen chemistry going on. Very smart action movie with tons of fun gadgets. Very well written, very cool movie that kicks off the summer movie season with a sonic boom. Hard to believe the director's previous two pieces of work were Elf and Zathura (PEE-YEW!)
