Amidst North Dakota's oil boom, desperate jobseekers flood small towns. In Williston, a sympathetic pastor opens his church to homeless new arrivals, letting them sleep on the floor, in the pews and in the parking lot for weeks on end. But when the town learns some of his guests have criminal records, and a mounting controversy threatens to erupt, his conviction to "love thy neighbor" is sorely tested.
